|
|
Hello all,
I'm installing a fresh system with gentoo KDE4. All is going wel, only 41 packages to go. I'm following the way mentioned on this page: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/desktop/kde/kde4.xml
However, the install is now failing on KAlgebra. It says emerge failed. It doesn't mention any packages installed wrong like on one or two other emerge fails.
I can't paste the out put here for I only have links on that machine and no gui yet.
Is there a way to solve it? I can't find this, or can I bypass it somehow, I mean KAlgebra isn't something I really need. In fact I'ld rather remove KOffice afterwards anyway. I'm going for openoffice.

The full error message would be very helpful.
Did you try emerge --resume --skipfirst to continue the installation with the next package? _________________ Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you with experience.
