| i'm having a very odd problem. i downloaded and compiled the 2.5.74 kernel and it's working fine, except it won't load my ethernet card. when i modprobe tulip it loads, but then when i run dhcpcd eth0 i get an IRC conflict on 16. i'm pretty sure i don't even have a 16. i'm back on 2.4.20 for now (where it works) and 'cat /proc/interrupts' shows that eth0 is on irq 5. any ideas? this happened before with a 2.5 kernel where i couldn't get online. |

Try uncommenting the "#exclude irq" lines in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts
If I remember correctly this solved a similar problem for me when I tried
the 2.5.73 kernel! |
