Hi,
I was wondering, is there a way to set the mouse double click speed system wide? X doesn't seem to have a system variable which controls it, and because the setting in the KDE control panel only affects KDE apps, it appears there is no double click event in the X input core; it appears to be up to the apps/GUI libs themselves.
I hate a high double click delay, and I was hoping to be able to set it faster for all apps, not just KDE. Any ideas? _________________ Linux backups the right way.

Yes, double click is to be handled by the toolkits such as QT and GTK. Try adding "gtk-double-click-time = ${time in ms}" in your gtkrc. _________________ "There will be more joy in heaven over the tear-bathed face of a repentant sinner than over the white robes of a hundred just men." (LM, 114) |
