J'ai configuré samba et utilise LinNeighborhood. Après quelques test, je peux facilement atteindre les ressources avec smbclient mais pas avec nmblookup (utilisé par LinNeighborhood). J'obtiens l'erreur suivante: | Code: | | name_query failed to find name ... |
Aucun message dans /var/log/samba. Bref, je comprend pas trop.

De mémoire (et à cette heure là c'est pas évident  ) il me semble qu'il fallait setuid root deux exécutables samba pour faire fonctionner LinNeighborhood.
Add : je viens de voir que c'est pour smbmount et smbumount donc ça ne correspond visiblement pas à ton pb. Désolé  .
Par contre, quelle version de samba utilises tu ???

Same as with smbclient. There is a bug in nmblookup (at least in 1.9.18 and 2.0.3) which disables the correct behavior when "debug level" or "log level" in smb.conf is set to "0", so set it to "1" (or higher) or leave the option away until this is fixed by the Samba people, the command line option -d1 is useless. (Fixed in >= 2.0.4!) |

J'ai la version 2.2.8a.
Merci pour ta réponse, je vais voir ça de suite. En tout cas LinNeighborhood utilises l'option -d1.
J'ai installé xfsamba qui n'utilise que smbclient pour trouver les ressources, donc il marche bien. Mais je préfère LinNeighborhood. Je vais trouver ce qui tourne pas rond avec nmblookup. |
