Hi,
I'm trying to fix so I can automount things via shfs in the /etc/fstab file.
I've added the following line in fstab:
user@host:/path/ /path/ shfs preserve,rmode=777 0 0
The problem lies in that it asks for a password when it tries to mount it. I've made a ssh cert so root on the fstab machine can ssh without a password to the host machine. And I've also set up so user at fstab machine can ssh without a password to host machine. None of these works.
Any idea who I can go if I wish to automount it at start up with another user than root?

If you use KDE and it is ok for you to mount it when logging in with KDE, just add a small script that does the mounting to ~/.kde/Autostart. _________________ Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you with experience.
