I have a problem with my network interface...I talked with Intel and they said it should run fine...but...it didn't...so I went on their site and downloaded my device specific driver for linux...now...I don't know what to do...it's a tar.gz...where do I extract it to...and how do I initialize my device with this new driver... _________________ Steve - Semper Fi |

in most kernel versions you will find e100 and eepro100 drivers (if you have one of the 100 Mbps, if you have a 1 Gbps you'll have e1000 and eepro1000 drivers). You shouldn't need any other things to put it to work. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." -- Calvin |
