since about 3 or 4 days i sometimes get strange errors when shutting down my computer.

lots of
Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address <some number>

and
/sbin/rc: line 143: 30181 Segmentation fault umount -a -v -n -t nodevfs,noproc,nosysfs,notmpfs > &/dev/null
or
umount -at tmpfs > ¾/dev/null

and
snd-page-alloc rtc usbcore nls_cp437 i2c-dev i2c-core nvidia

Now I'm unsure what is causing this: is my hd going to blow up?
I'm kinda scared..
The weird thing is: it does not happen everythime i shut down. Just sometimes... Maybe a heat related problem?
Packages I emerged recently that might affect this: alsa and baselayout
Hope someone can help...

This happens to me too, every now and again. It's annoying as when the system comes up next time it insists on fsck'ing the partition that wasn't unmounted (in my case usually /) then rebooting again...

Anyone else?

Code:
/sbin/rc: line 143: 30181 Segmentation fault umount -a -v -n -t nodevfs,noproc,nosysfs,notmpfs > &/dev/null
or
umount -at tmpfs > ¾/dev/null

I get this error at shutdown all the time too. I've been searching the forums with no help. I just shutdown the PC when I get this and never hear anything about it when I reboot, so I'm not worrying about it too much right now.
