After rebooting Gentoo with the new Kernel, i got the error-messages:
- Failed to calculate dependencies (modules)
and
- Failed to bring eth0 up
ERROR: Problem starting needed service
"netmount" was not started
Does anyone know how and where to enable "netmount" (in the kernel-configuration) and how to solve the calculating problem?

You may not have networking support enabled when compiling the kernel. You can follow a similar thread here:
