I have an MSI VR600 with a Microdia usb webcam.
lsusb:
Code: |
(...)
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 0c45:624f Microdia
(...)
|
Neither dmesg nor cat /var/log/messages are giving me any information for the webcam...
I've tried x11-drivers/xf86-video-v4leix and media-video/gspcav1 but none of them worked.
I still don't have /dev/video0.
I've read the Gentoo Wiki "How to install a webcam" but it doesn't seem to work for me...
Any ideas?
Thanks! |

You camera isn't supported by either of these drivers, there is a move to get drivers though. It may be some time before that happens. _________________ Adopt an orphan |
