|
|
Hello,
I am trying some test with xen and gentoo, but i have a problem, my chipset is the GM965 of Intel, and the agp is not supported by the actual xen gentoo-sources (2.6.20-r6 i believe), so i don't drm, dri.....definitely i don't 3d. I browse some information about this issue in google and the agp is supported at version 2.6.22. Someone knows when the gentoo sources of xen will hav the 2.6.22 kernel???....
thanks and sorry for my poor poor poor english.....
bye! |

XEN is behind the times when it comes to the kernel, it's still on 2.6.20 and there are patches for .22 but are buggy. I suggest you try out KVM which is part of the mainline kernel and supports VT. |

You can try the .22 kernel from the xen overlay, but I am not sure if it is stable enough... |

It's in portage now. _________________ "Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force." - Lord Vader |
