When I'm in outlook (this problem doesn't exist in evolution) and I try to delete a file, it just gets a line through it, it doesn't ever get deleted. Anyone know whats going wrong here?
Thanks,

With most email clients when you delete a message off an imap server it doesn't really get deleted, simply "marked for deletion." The marked messages get deleted when you "compact" (or "clean" or "expunge" whatever your client program calls it) the folder. I believe outlook has a setting to prevent it from showing the marked messages but I can't really remember I might be confusing it with evolution. It may even have a setting to let you delete messages immediately, again I can't remember. |

Okay, its:
Edit->Purge Deleted Messages
in Outlook2000.
Thanks for the tip!

OK,
I have one other question. When messages are deleted or sent in Evolution or Outlook, they go to the local program's respective "Sent" and "Deleted Items" folders, instead of the IMAP folders, any ideas on this?
