i have a gentoo server at home always connects to the internet and serves as pptpd server (itself is a firewall + router for bring my whole home online)

i have a workstation at office using gentoo as well and emerged pptpclient

that pptpclient CAN connect to my home pptpd (i see ppp0 interface up on both computers)

but the strange thing is i can ssh from my office workstation to my home server using ppp0 IP address while i CAN'T do this thing from my home computer to office workstation......

i.e. i set my home server pptpd as 10.1.0.1 and my office workstation as 10.1.0.100 (get from server pptpd after connected)

i can ping/ssh from 10.1.0.100 -> 10.1.0.1
but
i can't ping/ssh from 10.1.0.1 -> 10.1.0.100

am i missing anything?

thx in adv
:oops:

(my home network is 10.0.0.0/24)
(i have set 'nodefaultroute' in both sides options.pptpd)
