hi all,
does somebody know how to control arts (kde-soundsystem) with shell-commands, e.g. increasing the volume?
thanks, cu |

hrmm...
i don't know if this helps, but when i was trying to change volumes etc. from shell, i found the best workaround was umix (it's in the portage tree )
like i said, workaround, mainly coz i couldn't find a way to interact with arts directly!
good luck |

Try to do this via dcopserver.
Use "kdcop" --> "kmix" --> "Mixer0" to browse the available functions.
Greetings
