mount cd-rom as regular user

I am trying to mount my cdrom as regular user, but it says that only root can do that

how can I allow my user to mount as well?

make sure that in the options column, you have the entry "users"

so a standard entry looks like this

/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,ro,users 0 0
