If I start playing ogg123, if I then do something such as launch a browser or click a link in a browser.. it stops. I then have to ctrl+c ogg123 and after a short delay it thinks it has finished playing the song.
I'm using alsa sound drivers, intel8x0 or something, with a gentoo-sources kernel, Athlon XP 2600+, 512MB ram
Also Xmms seems to work sometimes.. and other times it says theres problem and sound may not be configured properly so it cannot play.
any help on having a more stable sound system that works consistently would be great. |
