|
|
I was going to finally make use of the tv-out on my video card but nvoption exits with a segmentation fault when I try to apply anything. I remembered nvclock could give card info so I thought I'd try it. surprisingly it claims Code: | =======================
--- NvClock v0.6.2 ---
=======================
No nVidia card found in your system! | and all the options in yanc are greyed out
HOWEVER in the info screen of yanc my card is correctly identified.
I only went to these programs after repeated attempts to edit my XFree86config ended up with
any ideas what to do? |

I just noticed the same peculiaritry when I ran nvclock against my new Ti5200 (Asus). Same error message + same GPU = I'm guessing nvclock hasn't been updated recently enough to include support for this model, but I could be wrong. If I find any info (am looking) I will post it here, so as to alleviate your confustication If you could do the same, should you figure it out, I would appreciate it. |

nvclock is out does not yet recognize the gfx line of cards. i modified it to understand my 5600, but it reported incorrect speeds for both my memory and core. i guess we have to wait for a new nvclock. _________________ burzmali
