microsoft Wireless Presenter 8000 bluetooth dongle

did anyone make this BT dongle work???
when you connecte it (either on win or on linux) it is detected as a HID interface.
under win you intsall the driver and bingo BT is working .... under linux nothing .... the hci_usb fails to load eith error code -5.
played arround a bit the code from hci_usb.c and I know it fails whene looking for some end points ... there's only one according to lsusb .
the hid2hci programe doesn't work eiither simply because it doesn't have the ProdID and VendID. added theme and nothing i fails saying that the operation is ongoing.
any ideas ????
