ssmtp config

hi,
i have gentoo up & running replacing the old mandrake 8.1 server
i noticed sendmail isnt installed by default but a proogy called ssmtp

all my server generated mail (dail rpts etc etc)
need to go to my mail server

on a local login when i do mail root & send a test msg theres no local
delivery
if i do mail foo@mail.xxx.com the mail never reaches the mail server
on my other box

i looked at the ssmtp.conf & think its configd correctly
if anyone else uses a similar setup please post you conf file here

ps: dont both posting advice about using qmail /sendmail etc etc
the mail server is already running qmail on openbsd & its running fine
i just need ssmtp work correctly if possible on this box.
