Wireless: Link, Level, and Noise. Differences and Definition

Does anyone have a good practical definition of what these three readings are I see in gkrellm? I've got a pretty good idea what they all mean, but it'd be nice to know what, exactly, it means when my "Link" is at 27, and the "Noise" is at 180.
