Did someone successfully compiled liferea against firefox 3b3? I tried and configure says no mozilla libs, no firefox etc. Also, gtkhtml is not supported on amd64, I tried with experimental webkit support, ebuild from bugs.gentoo.org compiled and installed but again liferea says webkit: no (ofcourse i copied ebuild to local overlay and remove the line --disable-webkit). What should I try next? :( I don't want to use xulrunner for this, never used it for anything and I don't want to start now just because of this... Any suggestions how I could solved this? Or mayby some other news reader, similar to liferea but without much dependencies...

I can't get liferea to run on my gentoo box, and I've been trying for about 4 months now. Currently it's segfaulting, but in the past is has experienced a wide range of failures. At no point has it actually opened a window long enough for me to even subscribe to some feeds.

Does anyone actually have liferea running on gentoo? Do you have Firefox 3 rc-something installed? What USE flags did you use?

It's up and running here on an amd64 system. I'm using the xulrunner useflag.

My Liferea is segfaulting on startup, before the window even shows. I've removed ~/.liferea-1.4 with no effect. I've recompiled several times with no change. Soon I'm going to start deactivating various USE flags on it to see if any of them fix it. Has anyone else had segfaults from Liferea and managed to fix it somehow? I may have to check with the devs in IRC later...

I got Firefox 3 and Liferea, running OK. But Liferea was compiled when I still got Firefox 3. Now I can't emerge the new version. Toggling the xulrunner flag doesn't help! :?

Can you copy the error here? Maybe there will be a useful hint in it.
