Salve a tutti, sono un utente di kubuntu e molto presto sulla mia nuova macchina passerò a Gentoo. Possiedo un IPOD TOUCH a cui posso accedere via SSH e sotto Kubuntu sono riuscito a fare il sync (mettere e togliere canzoni) seguendo questo HOWTO:

Ora su Gentoo il pacchetto ipod-convenience non sono riuscito a trovarlo, e senza di questo amarok non lo riconosce, sapreste dirmi come posso risolvere la situazione ?

se cerchi in portage trovi vari software per gestire l'ipod, comunque in gentoo amarok, l'ipod lo vede senza problemi.
nb:comunque al momento non credo sia un problema visto che non hai installato gentoo, quindi la sezione dove hai postato penso sia sbagliata.

L'ipod touch non è come gli altri ipod per quello ha problemi con Amarok. Anche se nn l'ho ancora installata ho la quasi certezza che avrò bisogno di questa cosa perciò ho chiesto. |

gtkpod dovrebbe fare al caso tuo.

Saggia scelta passare a Gentoo.
Per ipod-coso se vai a scaricarti i sorgenti originali del pacchetto noterai come alla fine non sia altro che uno scrippettino in shell.
alla fine il trucco è che monti via sshfs il dispositivo e che tramite fuse lo vedi , per cui nn è nulla che tu non possa fare a mano o automatizzando tramite script o modificando per gli script di ipod-convenience .

infatti avevo detto che amarok non aveva problemi in gentoo con l'ipod, però mi è stato risposto che il suo ipod è diverso dagli altri,
io non avendolo non saprei se funge o meno, comunque con le gtkpod funge anche quello.
quindi non avrà problemi a farlo fare funzionare.
