[solved] [PAM 0.99] groupadd: PAM authentication failed

I'm installing system from stage3 ~amd64 and now I'm re-emerging world. It all went fine until sys-apps/hal-0.5.10. Then installation broke with groupadd: PAM authentication failed. Then I've realized that I can't do usermod / useradd by hand too. I guess it has to do something with PAM being updated during install. I've read PAM upgrade guide, but I didn't found any answers to this problem yet.

I've unmasked pam-0.99.9.0-r1 and pambase-20080221. Groupadd seems to be working again.
