Hi,
I have a problem with setting wallpapers in fluxbox. When I run fbsetbg -f /path/to/wallpaper.jpg, it just says "Unable to load image", and that I must try with esetroot blablalbla. When I try it with Esetroot, the same error occurs.
I have done some research about that on google and forums, and I found there that the problem should be solved by reemerging fluxbox with imlib and imlib2 flags set. But, when I added these two to /etc/make.conf, and then I reemerge fluxbox, it solves nothing, and the error is still the same.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
houbysoft.

imlib flag or any flags for fluxbox don't change anything,
as fluxbox does not set the wallpaper itself.

fbsetbg is a wrapper for several wallpaper setters,
so your problem is probably the wallpaper setter.

So:

a) check that the filetype is supported by your wallpaper setter
(jpeg USE Flag?)

b) check if the image file is broken

c) try another wallpapersetter, I recommend feh.

Now, I've emerged feh, but when I run feh -F /my/image.jpg it says feh WARNING: /my/image.jpg - No Imlib2 loader for that file format.
What may I do? :(
