testing audio during install

Hey all,

I was wondering if there was any way i could test the audio drivers during installation from the command line? I have surround sound and want to make sure they work before finishing up all the little details. is this possible, and if so how?

You can't test the drivers until you have booted the kernel they're complied for. As far as playing from the command line, there are quite a few options to fulfill that.
