hi everyone.
i have recently obtained a DVB-S card, namely pinnacle PCTV sat pro. i put it into my gentoo box, with intention to stream digital TV into my network. unfortunately, no drivers recognize this card (all available video and DVB drivers in 2.6.22-suspend2-r2 as modules), not even when all of them are loaded manually.
linuxTV has no information about this card (they have "PCTV sat" and "PCTV sat CI" supported, but say nothing about this one)

anyone had success with this card? or which card would you recommend as "linux-friendly"? |
