Problemi Apache2 PHP 4.3.2

Ho eseguito
emerge Apache mod_php

e fin qui tutto bene.

Quando provo a usare
ebuild /var/db/pkg/dev-php/mod_php-4.3.2-r3/mod_php-4.3.2-r3.ebuild config
mi da errore dicendomi di aggiugere al file Apache2
"-D PHP4"
sono andato nel file, ho tolto# e inserito all'interno degli apici la scritta in questione, ma il risultato e' sempre lo stesso....

Qualcuno puo' dirmi dove sbaglio?
