I installed watchdog, got it all setup. However, I'm unable to find a pid file for the X server itself for watchdog to monitor. X has been freezing up a lot lately, so until I can find a fix for it, I just want watchdog to kill X and restart it, rather than me losing all input control and having to power off the computer :(

Are there any ways to have watchdog monitor the X process if a pid file doesn't exist for it? :(
