|
|
I updated Gnome from 2.22 to 2.22.1 and xorg-server from 1.3 to 1.4 and my keyboard isnt working as it must.
My keys are changed (ex. PrintPant = Supr, Up = PrintPant, etc...) I tryed to change layout in xorg.conf and in Gnome without sucess, i tryed with generic 104 keys, generic 105 keys and Acer Laptop keyboard
Here a screenshot of my config, the SO is in spanish:
Screen here
If i connect an external USB keyboard it works... and while it is connected the integrated keyboard is working as it must, but when i disconnect it my internal keyboard works again badly
I need some help _________________ Acer Aspire 5051AWXMi

To be precise: have you tried evdev keyboard model with gnome layout selector? "pc105" is not fully compatible with evdev keyboard codes.
X server loads evdev driver because from now on xorg don't use /etc/X11/xorg.conf if it can found keyboard/mouse configuration throw hal (if you have >=hal-0.5.10). |

After X upgrade x11-drivers/xf86-input-keyboard and x11-drivers/xf86-input-mouse should be rebuild too _________________ "Dear Enemy: may the Lord hate you and all your kind, may you be turned orange in hue, and may your head fall off at an awkward moment."

No You should try evdev with evdev in gnome configuration (because /etc/X11/xorg.conf does not play a role anymore). There should be some keyboard model with a word "evdev" in a gnome dialog you shown in screenshot. |
