|

Hi,
I'm having some trouble with the performance when I use the ICAClient, and was hoping that some of you might have some thoughts on the issue.
I can connect to my workplace with no problem, but the performance is alot worse than it should be. I suspect this is related to the caching in the client, because my caching directory is allways empty during a session.
My settings indicate that the caching is on, and the cache size is set to 5000 KB at the moment. I've played around with different sizes both for the total cache and the "minimum bitmap size to cache", but nothing seems to change the performance.
As I've said the cache-directory ($HOME/.ICAClient/cache) is allways empty during my sessions, and I have no idea what to do.
Does anybody have any solutions or ideas on how to dig deeper into this?
BR,

Does anyone have any general tips regarding performance-tuning if the ICAClient then?
I hate the thought of booting into windows just to get decent performance, but I'm not sure how to dig deeper into this... |
