Hello,

f-spot 4.2 crashes with SIGSEGV on startup. So does f-spot 4.2 svn while f-spot 4.1 runs fine. Same behaviour trying to start f-spot 4.2 in a new user's environment. I can't find anything related to this bug in f-spot's bugzilla oder the f-spot mailing list, so i think it's a problem with my installation?!

Here's the output:

Quote:

Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries
used by your application.

Any Ideas?

Regards
marcuse

Edit: Reason for the segfault was gconfd-2 not running. Due to changes in f-spot's configuration backend this does only affect versions >= 0.4.2.

I'm getting the same errors, but do have gconfd-2 running...

Aborted

$ ps -A | grep gconf

Any ideas how to solve this would be appreciated.

Cheers
