Hi,

I have lm_sensors working. At least most of the data looks right and concurrs roughly with Asus probe in Windows.

However I have a 3rd temp which is not provided by Asus Probe in windows... temp3.

Code:

temp1:       +48 C  (low  =    -1 C, high =  +127 C)   sensor = thermistor
temp2:       +30 C  (low  =    -1 C, high =  +127 C)   sensor = thermistor
temp3:      +102 C  (low  =    -1 C, high =  +127 C)   sensor = thermistor

I believe temp1 is CPU, temp2 is Mobo/System, temp3... no idea. It fluctuates a lot, from 50C to 110C in a matter of seconds, so it might just be an anomolous reading.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

It's probably a non-existent sensor. In my Windows days I used Speedfan alot, a program to read temps and fanspeeds. It had some fake entries as well, with temps varying from -100 to +227 degrees.
Nothing to worry about. Currently with lm_sensors I have a fake temp3 as well. As long as other temps are good, everything's alright :)
