Kann mir jemand ein Tool empfehlen, mit dem sich große gerichtete Graphen (mit einigen Tausend Knoten) plotten lassen? Graphviz funktioniert nur mit relativ kleinen Graphen (bis zu einigen hundert Knoten) relativ gut, LGL kann leider nur mit ungerichteten Graphen umgehen... _________________ Never argue with an idiot. was sind eigendlich grosse gerichtete graphen ? wenn du mit graph meinst was ich meine dann kannst du sicher mapple nehmen, wird ja weltweit ueberall verwendet und hat sicherlich keine grenzen, wenn ich meinem IT prof glauben darf *gg* _________________ I do not have a Superman complex, for I am God not Superman

auf den ersten blick sieht aber die definition auf wikipedia auch recht mathematisch aus. was macht man den mit diesen graphen ? wozu sind sie gut ? _________________ I do not have a Superman complex, for I am God not Superman

Ist sie auch. Graphentheorie als solche liegt irgendwo in der Schnittmenge von Mathematik und Informatik.

Das kann man noch nicht mal ansatzweise aufzählen, so vielfältig sind die Anwendungsgebiete. Bekannte Beispiele sind die Berechnung kürzester Wege (was zum Beispiel in Deinem Navigationssystem passiert oder bei der Fahrplanauskunft der Bahn), Färbungs-/Zuordnungsprobleme (Dienst-/Stundenpläne erstellen, Züge in einem Bahnhof auf die Gleise verteilen, Prozesse in einem Computersystem auf CPUs verteilen etc.), Flußprobleme (Datenfluß im Internet, Verkehrsfluß auf der Straße, Wasserfluß im Kanalsystem), Metabolische Netzwerke in Biologie und Medizin (Darstellung der Wechselwirkungen von Proteinen im Stoffwechsel etc.), soziale Netzwerke usw. _________________ Never argue with an idiot.
