PowerBook G3 Lombard - Problem with fan and TV-out

I have a PowerBook Lombard G3 400MHz (Bronze Kbd)... It work fine, except of two things...

First...

It's getting hot... There is a fan inside, but it doesn't spin...
I know it's possible to control it with software, because I've seen a test-app that enables it in MacOS 9...

Does anyone know how to control it in linux?

Second...

At last I got the 3d acceration to work after mush sercing on internet for help, but I can't find any information about TV-out... plz help...

The grafics-card is a Rage Pro LT with a mach64
