After several hours (actually days because I use tuxonice) my X server uses vast amounts of my memory. It starts off with maybe 3% memory usage and eventually eats up my RAM (now 31.7%, yesterday 60%).
Actually, I think its not X itself but the graphics card driver, because pmap run with several hours in between reports (diffed)

Can I find out more about for what the memory is reserved for? And should I report this (and where?)? |
