Problemi KDE

Hola,
come avrete capito mi sto dilettando da pochissimo con KDE.
Ho un problemone: non riesco a fare il logout, spegnere la macchina, riavviarla, ecc.

Succede questo:

1) se provo a fare spegni/riavvia dall'applet, lo schermo diventa nero e devo spegnere la macchina in maniera brutale;
2) se provo a fare "Termina la sessione" dal menu, la prima volta mi ammazza qualche applicazione, la seconda volta succede come al punto 1;
3) se da shell faccio shutdown -h/-r now succede come al punto uno.

In sostanza, il pc VUOLE VIVERE!!!!

A parte le cavolate, chi mi puo' dare una zampa?

Sotto SuSE avevo avuto lo stesso problema...Nel mio caso ho risolto dal centro di controllo->amministrazione di sistema->gestione degli accessi, dove era specificato che solo da root potevi spegnere. Prova a darc un'occhiata

Ho console "tutti" e remoto "solo root". Ora ho messo remoto "tutti" e vediamo che succede....

Secondo me era giusto anche come prima... In ogni caso dubito che c'entri il power management se con un altro ambiente si chiudeva regolarmente.

Disabilitando acpi e abilitando apm tutto funziona...

tranne il fatto che devo fare due volte logout
