Does anyone know why there aren't any sounds available for globulation 2 anymore? There weren't any from emerging the ebuild and in downloading the source from their website I find that it just doesn't come with their download. (It should be in the data/zak/ directory)

It took me some digging, but I found this site. Which I guess is the developer's page. Clicking on 'Downloads' at the top will let you select downloading the music samples (the listing is near the bottom of the page)
Once downloaded, the files need to be renamed:
| Code: | mv 1-intro.ogg intro.ogg
mv 3-ingame.ogg menu.ogg
mv 2-menu-attempt1.ogg a1.ogg
mv 2-menu-attempt2.ogg a2.ogg
mv 2-menu-attempt3.ogg a3.ogg |
Lastly, they need to be moved into the sounds folder: /usr/share/games/glob2/zik/
Mind you that these sounds are a little off from what I remember, so maybe these are the older or newer versions of what I remember, but it at least works on my compy. |
