Hi folks,
usually when I use programs like azureus or amule I cannot use any other network application because of "connect : no buffer space available" error. Naturally if I close azureus/amule, after a minute, the network returns available.
I tried also to reduce the maximum connection limit in azureus from 250 to 150 connections but no luck. Is there any workaround or kernel setting that can raise the size of the buffer?
I followed this guide http://www.gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_TCP_Tuning#Variables_to_Change.2C_and_suggested_Values to tune up my tcp (adding those values to sysctl.conf) but I still get this problem.
Any suggestions? |

I got the same error/warning in Gentoo Live CD 2007.0. I was trying to mound my Windows 2000 2nd NTFS partition with this commad:
sudo mount /dev/hda2 /media/windows2 -t auto -o noauto -o user -o umask=0000
I had no problem using the above command with the first FAT32 partition, i used /dev/hda1 and -t vfat though.
Appreciate any help.
TIA.
