After upgrading to mySQL v4, I have plenty of dependency problems. So I ran revdep-rebuild, but it says :

Quote:
emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "=dev-php/mod_php-4.3.1".

When I look into the cvs, this version of mod_php is removed. So I tried upgrading to mod_php-4.3.2 using emerge mod_php, but I get :

Quote:
configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling

Looking through the different forums, I found that this can be solved using... revdep-rebuild ! Seems like I'm deadlocked here...

So I tried to retrieve the old ebuild from the cvs attic and put it in /usr/local/portage/dev-php/mod_php, but it gives me an error saying

Quote:
aux_get(): (0) Error in dev-php/mod_php-4.3.1-r3 ebuild.

I guess I could remove the 4.3.1 alltogether, but I'm scared to do this since I can't afford a broken mod_php on my system (for the moment it still seems to work).

Does anyone has any idea how to solve my problem ?

Thanks !

Kristof

I finally took the courage to unmerge the ancient mod_php ebuild and then put the new one in place. This worked :lol:
