Hi all,
I have a palm 500 (usb cradle). I wanted to put a linux on it. The only one i found was the uClinux but he needs a serial cradle...
I don't know if i'm able to change the needs and to work around with i, but i was thinking in stead of doing the effort with uClinux, would it be possible to use Gentoo for it?
If so it's better to work with the gentoo one i think...
what do you guys think? _________________ "I am not bound to please thee with my answers." |

an Palm 500 (if I recall correctly) has a 8?MHz m68k chip, and until 2.6 linux will not have support for computers that uclinux does (ones like the m68k palms without an mmu).
Gentoo's cross-building is being worked on, but currently isn't very good. It used to be under www.gentoo.org/~zwelch but that isn't around (can't imagine why) but I have archived the webpages I could find in google's cache.
Essentially: No. |
