I seem to have encountered a rather strange error, and can't seem to find any help on it anywhere. After getting X all installed and configured, I start it up, only to discover that my desktop is far larger then my monitor. (If anyone recalls old laptops, where if you increased your resolution beyond the screen size, it simply spread your desktop across multiple screens, this is what I'm refering to)
This happens on any resolution above 640 x 480, regardless of window manager. I'm running the current nvidia kernel & glx drivers with a Nvidia GeForce2 Video Card and a Hansol 710D monitor. If anyone can help me get my desktop all visible at once again, I'd be most thankful :) |

you have the virtual desktop turned on in your XF86Config, not quite sure how to turn it off, but whenever i set up X, it asks me about that, and I say no... |
