sto cercando di utilizzare la mia scheda wireless pci con chipset ralink abilitando il supporto nel kernel, ho dovuto copiare il firmware nella directory /lib/firmware dopo di che sono riuscito ad attivarla e configurarla, ma appena si crea un flusso dati, dopo un paio di MB il computer si blocca con questo messaggio:

Ho provato anche ad utilizzare i driver rt61 presenti in portage, ma con il kernel 2.6.24 in fase di compilazione ottengo questo errore:

tornando indietro al kernel 2.6.23 invece riesco ad installarli, viene riconosciuta l'interfaccia ra0, ma quando tento di configurarla con iwconfig ra0 essid nomerete non succede niente, rilanciando iwconfig senza argomenti ra0 risulta ancora senza essid. che cosa può essere a bloccarla? |

perfetto, ho risolto installando l'ultimo kernel disponibile al momento, il 2.6.25-rc8 |
