I installed linux for my in-laws and their biggest grumble was that evolution does not have popup reminders for *tasks*, only for *calender* entries
Also, the popups reminders for calendars are not *in your fac* dialogs like in windows, they instead are small rectangles in the taskbar which might not get noticed by folks with poorer eyesight or people not paying attention.
I know this is not a big deal but some times it is the little things that really annoy us.
The closer I can configure their system to run like windows for office/outlook etc, the happier they will be
Has anyone used evolution for tasks? any thoughts or suggestions? _________________ Claiming that your operating system is the best in the world because more people use it is like saying McDonalds makes the best food in the world. |
