As it seems to be lot of people who wants to get rid of that gtk-1.2 and only run a system with GTK2 apps, I thought that it might be a good idea to make a list with GTK2 compatible apps.
So far I only found some that I think everyone knows exist, namely:
GkrellM2
Gaim(0.60) (that one from gaim-cvs)
Both are avalible in Portage.
Please list your GTK2 apps bellow.
Regards, Jacob W.[/b]

Wow! RhythmBox seems really cool, but it isn't in Portage (yet) right???
And I forgot about gftp in my list ....:D

Yes, but RhythmBox will not work with Gnome 2.2. When you try to emerge it it want to downgrade parts of Gnome to 2.0.x.

Calculating dependencies ...done!

Yhea, but having that little 'bash script' would be nice

I wish I knew a little bit more in order to make it work

To all those who have questioned galeon 2 working with flash and java, yes, it works. And it works very well.

What do you mean here? There's the script that's on the thread with the ebuild which works for me.

Make sure that if you copied and pasted it that the line breaks didn't get changed and all that.. not sure what it could be other than that.
