I just can't find any support on google for this problem. As soon as you mention yenta_socket your search is just taken in a whole new direction so I'm turning to you guys
I'm trying to get my linksys usb200m fast ethernet converter to work with gentoo. The asix module is supposed to work for this but it hasn't helped both compiled as a module and into the kernel. The next place I could turn to was pcmcia-cs, so I emerged that.
Then I try to start it and get this:
Code: |
Master linux # /etc/init.d/pcmcia start
* 'modprobe yenta_socket' failed
* Trying alternative PCIC driver: i82365
* Starting pcmcia ...
cardmgr[3674]: no pcmcia driver in /proc/devices
* cardmgr failed to start. Make sure that you have PCMCIA
* modules built or support compiled into the kernel [ !! ]
Master linux #

I've got no idea how to fix this.
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
