|
|
Hi guys,
Does anybody know of a way to centrally track users online behaviour? i.e. browsing history and requests?
This is intended for a company network and I'm not trying to track people for evil reasons, just for security and preventing unauthorized use of the network bandwidth.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

No, does that allow you to track usage for individual users, or just for a network on a whole? |

I haven't used it for a while, but I believe it's by IP (or reverse resolved hostname).
If you want to trace by specific user credentials, then I believe you'll have to set-up a proxy for internet access. For example Squid proxy using MRTG to monitor usage.
