When I try to compile koffice I get the following error:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.3) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!

Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!

!!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/app-office/koffice/koffice-1.2_beta2.ebuild .

I have never received this before and I've have installed numerous programs including Gimp, Open Office and numerous others. Does Qt merge with thread support by default? Any ideas?

I did not have any trouble with kofice myself only a few days ago. Try waiting a few hours adn try again. The ebuild may be broken.
