instaled aterm on my fluxbox
i want to start one from .xinitrc to do a tail -f /var/log/messages
is there any way you can controle where on screen is it placed/geomtery
i want it on the botom part of my screen _________________ gentoo = u're free |

aterm -g +X+Y? (For example, aterm -g +400+200)
I'm guessing aterm supports -g (geometry). xterm and Eterm do. You'll have to experiment to find where to put it, the offsets are measured from the top left of the desktop, and define where the top left corner of the window go. _________________ obpiper: pipe menu generator for openbox

oh indeed it does ;p always used the windowmanger to handle it tho..
ie.
Code: | aterm -geometry 50x15+200+300 |
