Evolution under KDE 4

I'm using KDE 4 on my x86 box, and most things are working fine. Evolution, however, has no icons. All the icons in the toolbar, status bar and folders are replaced with a default icon that looks like paper with a red x. Firefox works fine, it's just evolution. Any ideas welcome.

No ideas? It seems to be related to the gtk theme problem under KDE4.

same thing here. and i can't stand to use kmail.
worked just once with icons though.

One thing I did find in another post. If you start evolution form the "Run Command" option, it works great. All the icons are there.

Is there any way to solve this proble with evolution, yet? For me the problem still remains.

the problem exists also in KDE3.5 you can find the solution in the following link.
