On one of my machines I use to play around with vservers. However, since the last system upgrade of both the vserver host and the guest environment, the guest won't start any more: Code: | sahib ~ # vserver abdullah start
umount: /mnt/nfs_portage: not mounted
klogctl: Operation not permitted
Gentoo Linux; http://www.gentoo.org/

Press I to enter interactive boot mode
* Mounting proc at /proc ... [ oops ]
* The "mount" command failed with error:
permission denied
* Since this is a critical task, startup cannot continue.
Give root password for maintenance

Your help would be very much appreciated!
EDIT: current stable sys-apps/baselayout messes up things. Solved by installing vserver-ready baselayout-2.0.0, udev-120, and openrc from the testing branch (~x86). _________________ Mandrake Dec 2001 · Debian "Woody" Aug 2002 · Gentoo Jan 2004 · Funtoo Oct 2009 |
