How to burn the gentoo ??

Hello,

sorry - embarrassing question!! I downloaded the image file of gentoo, however I can't burn this file correctly in MS Windows. I'm using Ahead Nero, but if I choose the option "CD image burn" and select the gentoo "iso" file, I get an error message concerning wrong block size. Besides a dialogue window appears whether I would like to correct this error or not. So, how I can burn this file most simply without some error dialog pop-ups ?

maybe you didn't get the whole iso ?
try downloading it from a diffrent mirror.

I'd suspect there's something wrong with the ISO file -- maybe it didn't finish downloading? I don't know much about Nero, but there didn't seem to be any trick to burning it when I used Easy CD Creator and OS X Disk Copy. Check the FTP site you got it from for the correct file size. The ISOs for x86-1.4rc4 are 70,053,888 for "gentoo-basic" and 224,800,768 for "gentoo-3stages".

I downloaded that file again, now it's working ..
